Dr. Blake Hutzler, DDS

Dr. Blake Hutzler was born and raised in the North Texas area and graduated from Plano Senior High School. After graduating high school, Dr. Hutzler attended the University of Oklahoma, graduating from the honors college magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology and minor in health and exercise science. After college, Dr. Hutzler obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in the Houston medical center, where he served various leadership positions for his class and national student dental associations. Dr. Hutzler practiced dentistry for years in the North Texas area before he decided to attend a hospital-based residency program at the Dallas Veterans Affairs Medical Center to focus on more complex procedures and surgeries, where he ultimately completed the General Practice Residency (GPR) program.

Dr. Hutzler is passionate about treating patients with the highest quality of care and enjoys implementing the most cutting-edge literature and technology in his daily practice while maintaining a conservative and preventive treatment planning approach. Dr Hutzler has invested over +500 hours in continuous education for dental procedures. Dr. Hutzler is an active member of the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry, where he is currently serving as the President-elect for the Dallas chapter.

Outside of the dental office, you can find Dr. Hutzler spending time with his wife, daughter, and soon to be son. Dr. Hutzler and his wife enjoy exploring outdoor recreation spaces around the North Texas area accompanied by their two dogs, Ollie (aussiedoodle) and Remi (adopted from a rescue so breed is up for debate!). Dr. Hutzler is an avid sports fan with a particular emphasis on Dallas sports teams and college football.
